Darkling Demolition has successfully completed a large number and wide variety of medium and large demolitions of a complex nature ranging from furnaces to stoker plants, industrial warehouses and water towers, dams, crane structures, buildings and so on. In one specific demolition we mechanically dropped a 36 metre high refractory lined stack, that was calculated to weigh 480 tons, so accurately it fell just 16 centimetres short of the marker that had been placed on the impact bedding. We specialize in mechanical demolition but have completed projects that have required the use of explosion and implosion techniques as well. Darkling Demolition has proven itself to be safety concious, reliable, efficient and fast, and is therefore ranked as one of the best in South Africa.
