We at Darkling Industrial Metals would like to introduce ourselves to you with the hopes that we can provide you with one or more of the following services:

1. A FREE COLLECTION SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR ALL TYPES OF SCRAP METAL, PLASTIC PIPE AND GLASS WITHIN 50 KILOMETRES OF OUR NEAREST FACILITY.

• To cater for all customers we can provide any type of vehicle ranging from a 1 ton bakkie to a 30 ton articulated truck & trailer.
• Our large fleet of vehicles includes skip trucks, grab trucks, hooklifts, mini bin trucks and bakkies as well as large open top articulated vehicles.
• Skip and hooklift bins can be placed at your site, free of charge, for you to place your unwanted scrap materials into and later collected (also free of charge).
• Any number of bins can be provided to match the amount of material to be sold.
• Rotation of bins is done free of charge and there is no time limit for you to fill them.
• For larger parcels, manual labour can be provided (free of charge) in order to help you sort and place your materials into the bins for collection.

2. ALL OF OUR VEHICLES ARE “LIVE TIME” SATELLITE TRACKED WITH RECORDS GOING AS FAR BACK AS 60 DAYS.

• Our vehicles are monitored on a continuous basis so as to ensure the safety of your load.
• Tracking reports can be provided at any time for you to view.
• Should you require further security, then additional escorts can be provided (especially for high value loads).

3. GAS CUTTERS CAN BE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO AID YOU IN THE DOWNSIZING OF ANY LARGE ITEMS OR MACHINERY.

• Fully certified gas cutters can be provided fully equipped and free of charge for any period of time in order to cut up your redundant scrap,
• Gas equipment can be supplied in fully working order and at no cost to you.
• Gas and consumables can be supplied as and when required (also free of charge - consumables)

4. CASH PAYMENTS FOR ALL LOADS UNDER R10 000.00 THAT ARE ESCORTED TO THE YARD BY THE CLIENT.

• EFT payments are made within 24 hours of arrival for all un escorted loads after sorting or any loads exceeding R10 000.00 in value.
• Special arrangements can be made for larger cash payments but require a booking first, for safety reasons, at least 48 hours in advance,
• Payment by cash cheque to any value under R200 000.00 is also an available option but requires 48 hours prior booking as per Bank requirements

5. ALL LOADS ARE WEIGHED ON FULLY CERTIFIED, CALIBRATED AND LEGAL WEIGHING EQUIPMENT UNDER CAMERA SURVEILLANCE.

• Weighbridge certificates are issued for every load received and can be accompanied by relevant load photographs ensuring that all loads are sorted properly.
• All loads containing more than one grade of material are sorted and weighed again on static scales (also under camera) to ensure maximum value to the client.

6. SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT SUCH AS BOBCATS, FRONT END LOADERS, EXCAVATORS AND SO ON WITH TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED ATTACHMENTS CAN BE SUPPLIED.

• Machinery with attachments such as grabs, shears and pulverizers can be supplied for large parcels and high volume clean-ups as well as industrial demolition,
• Machinery is supplied free of charge provided that they are working with scrap metals.
• Increased production and profitability as well as better safety is achieved by the use of these machines.

7. WE WILL PAY YOU TO DO ALL YOUR (OR YOUR CLIENTS) HEAVY INDUSTRIAL STEEL STRUCTURE DEMOLITIONS.

• Complete plants are taken down, cut up and removed from site in a matter of days, free of charge, with payments being made for all recovered recyclables.
• Masonary structures can be taken down mechanically or by implosion at very reasonable rates as a result of our incredibly advanced equipment.
• We are also fully certified to dismantle, handle and dispose of Asbestos and other hazardous materials and chemicals

8. A FULLY COMPREHENSIVE WASTE HANDLING AND RECYCLING SOLUTION CAN BE PROVIDED TO ALL CLIENTS THAT ALSO SUPPLY US WITH THEIR SCRAP MATERIALS FOR PURCHASE.

• All of our employees are fully trained in the handling of waste and recyclable materials.
• All of our vehicles are fully compliant and can handle any form of commercial and industrial waste.
